Antony Partos is one of Australia’s most awarded film composers. His passion lies in creating scores that blend both acoustic and electronic elements with an eclectic mix of exotic instruments.
Antony’s latest project Christy (starring Sydney Sweeney) premiered at TIFF, directed by David Michôd, is set for an upcoming theatrical release.
His other feature film credits include Poker Face (starring Russell Crowe), Gold (starring Zac Efron), Rams (starring Sam Neill), I Am Mother (starring Hillary Swank), Jasper Jones (starring Toni Collette), 99 Homes (starring Andrew Garfield), Animal Kingdom (starring Ben Mendelsohn and Jacki Weaver) and The Rover (starring Guy Pearce).
Antony’s scores for TV Drama include The Artful Dodger, Mystery Road, Last King of the Cross, Total Control, The End, Operation Buffalo, Rake, The Slap and Wake In Fright.
Other projects include Academy Award® nominated feature Tanna, (BAFTA Nominated Feature Documentary) Sherpa, (AGSC Winner Best Music for a Documentary & Best Soundtrack Album, AACTA Winner Best Music for a Documentary), Lucas Films’ Documentary The Director and the Jedi which premiered at SXSW, and hit HBO feature film Fahrenheit 451 which premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
